The American Civil War
(1861 - 1865)

The Alabama Civil War Round Table

It's been called many things...
  • The Civil War
  • The War Between The States
  • The War For States Rights
  • The War of Northern Agression
  • The War of Rebellion
  • The War for Southern Independence
  • And others
By whatever name, the end result was hundreds of thousands of Americans dead and a nation scarred forever. The war was the deadliest in American history. It caused 750,000 (2012 updated data) soldier deaths and an undetermined number of civilian casualties.

If you're interested in American history and especially the American Civil War, then you'll enjoy our group "The Alabama Civil War Round Table" in Birmingham AL. You are cordially invited to come visit with us at any one of our meetings!

Our membership is made up of a wide variety of individuals who all have a passion for both our Northern and Southern heritages, and the events that changed our nation. Our speakers are published authors, college professors and Civil War enthusiasts - all with a passion and enthusiasm for telling 1000's of stories about the American Civil War.

Please join us at one of our 2013 meetings!
